Club Rush will take place in the Quad during lunch on Friday, September 14. Club rush is an annual event where student representatives from all of the clubs on campus have the chance to show what they’re all about. Most clubs set up tables with posters and many provide snacks to entice students to join. Associated Student Body (ASB) President Anelise Dempsey expects over 20 clubs at rush, and notes that there are several new clubs forming this year.
Dempsey encourages current club members and coordinators to be “well organized and creative” in preparing for rush, as she feels “it is a great event to reach out to new students.”
When asked to give advice to students attending rush, Dempsey recommends introducing yourself to club members to learn more.Club Rush allows new and returning students alike to “meet new people, see what’s out there, and explore new interests.”
