Volleyball Wins Tournament In Santa Barbara

The Varsity Volleyball team won against Santa Maria High School Thursday. The varsity team also took first place in the silver bracket at the Carpinteria Classic this weekend. Delaney Siegmund received the All Tourney Award. Varsity lost their game Tuesday against Nipomo High School.

The freshmen gained another victory against Nipomo High School on Tuesday. The freshmen have lost one game which didn’t count for league, meaning they’re undefeated. They’re hoping they keep their title against Santa Maria too. Theona Hadjiyane said, “We’ll do pretty good against Santa Maria High School, we’ve been working as a team.” Theona Hadjiyane is feeling pretty confident for the game against Santa Maria and has confidence on her team. The freshman team does have confidence because they succeeded against Santa Maria High School Thursday. The JV team unfortunately lost their game against Nipomo High School Tuesday. On Thursday, JV team easily won against Santa Maria High School. 

The next game for varsity is Tuesday against St. Joseph High School and Thursday against Pioneer Valley High School.
