Morro Bay High School girls water polo is ranked #4 in the latest coaches poll for CIF Central Section Division 2. Varsity right handed utility player, Skylar Evans, says “Being ranked 4th is a huge accomplishment for our team. We feel very special brining this proud placing to the aquatics program.”

Besides being ranked 4th in the Central Coast section, they are ranked 2nd in league, with Nipomo in first. They play Nipomo on Wednesday October 10th at Nipomo High, and if they win they will be tied for first. Evans says “Beating Nipomo is incredibly possible.”

The varsity girls participated in an exciting invitational this past weekend at Arroyo Grande High, where they placed 9th out of 23 teams. They won three of their five games played, winning against El Diamente, Redwood, and Willow Glen. Skylar says “We played very well and improved a lot.” The team is overall doing great and you can see them play Friday October 5th here at Morro Bay.
