It’s that time of year again! This means it’s time for a celebration of  Christmas cheer brought to you by Morro Bay High School’s ASB (Associated Student Body). This year, ASB will have a 12 days of Christmas event where new activities will happen each day such as a snowball fight, ugly sweater competition, and many other games. Most of the events are taking place in the quad area at lunch. Students are welcome to participate in any event to hopefully bring up holiday cheer. “We’re trying to get people through finals week,” says ASB member Taylor Joller. “And to keep up school spirit.”

So far we have had Christmas carols, decorating cookies, hot cocoa and holiday hats day, but there was an unfortunate incident with the ugly sweater competition. It was cancelled due to ugly weather so there was a hasty decision to keep up the competition. It was brought indoors for a vote. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again as there are many other events to look forward to.
