Girls Varsity team played in a tournament at Napa Valley. They played in the championship, Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, they lost against Redding Christian.
Girls played 4 games and won three out of four. The first game was against North Hills Christian High School (Vallejo, CA). The final score was 76-25.
In the second game they played against Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa). Once again, Morro Bay dominated with the final score being 58-18.
The third victory was against, Calistoga. In the first half the Morro Bay was down by 6 points. By half time both teams were tied 16-16. Even at the end of third quarter they were tied with the score being 25-25. Finally, in the fourth quarter Morro Bay outscored Calistoga. The game ended 38-34. After getting this victory Morro Bay went to the championship.
At the championship Morro Bay faced Redding Christian. At half time the score was 20-9 with Morro Bay being down by eleven points. Morro Bay ended the game with the final score of 38-21. Breanna Florentino and Phoebe Knighton received All-Tourney MVP Award.
