The final soccer games of the season happened this week. The boys lost their final game 3-0. The girls also lost their game to Orcutt 3-0. The girls had their final Player of the Game, Senior Hattie Taylor. These final defeats will close out a season marked by ups and downs.

The boys hosted Templeton in a home game to end the season. The defense was unable to stop Templeton from scoring, and the offense was unable to get past the defense of Templeton. Nobody was named the player of the game against Templeton. The boys record ends at 11-14-1.

The girls had a home conference game against Orcutt Academy as their final game but, like the boys, lost their game 3-0 as well. The girls were able to hold Orcutt to one goal in the first half but gave up two more in the second half. Hattie Tayler was named Player of the Game in her final game as a Morro Bay Pirate. Here is what MaxPreps.com had to say in their Coaches Comments section: “Congratulations to Hattie tonight. She played an amazing game, switched the ball beautifully and controlled the field. She was aggressive and won the ball in the midfield. We will miss you, Hattie!” The girls finished the season at 6-12.
