The play Mamma Mia, starring senior Maddy Booker as Sophie and junior Marissa Dinsmor as her mother starts Friday March 15th and will be showing the 16th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd. Come to experience a tropical, song-filled musical following Sophie’s wedding and her mother’s past romances found again.
Booker encourages everyone to come to the play, stating,”It’s a really high energy show and the music is really fun and you’re insured to have a good time! And here’s some Abba hits!”
The play is based on the well-loved movie Mamma Mia starring Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried whose songs originate from a Swedish pop group called Abba. The play will have live music played by MBHS students. Senior Rebecca Hunt, who is also part of the cast, said “I think everyone that has ever been in a relationship would enjoy the play.”
