Morro Bay had their second consecutive home game this week against Lindsey High School. The game was a non-conference game against a familiar foe.

The JV team won their game with a score of 26-0. The Morro Bay offense was able to score 26 points, while the defense did not allow a single point the entire game. After the game, the Varsity team prepared for their battle against the Lindsey Varsity team.

The Varsity team was now up against Lindsey’s varsity squad. The Pirates lost by a score of 7-0. The defense was able to hold Lindsey to only seven points for the game and did not let Lindsey score at all in the first half. On the other side of the ball however, the offense was unable to put up any points for the second game in a row. Lindsey was able to beat Morro Bay in a very close game that came down to the wire.

In the next game, Morro Bay will be up against Tranquillity High School in a non-conference away game on Friday, September 6 at 7:00 P.M.
