The Morro Bay High School library is a place for students to coalesce together in games, enjoy each others time, and have an eating area. Recently the lunch areas have changed to just three long tables in the front east side of the library. The rest of the tables are off-limits, especially the computer areas.

On the changing of the lunch areas, librarian Ms. Hagwood found the main problem to be mice. The appearance of the mice has been caused by construction and the leftover food from students. In the past, the lunch eating rules have gone from no eating to a whole buffet. For the lunch areas “It will probably always change to fit the school year, our population, our patrons.”

The lunch areas have changed in order to move forward in dealing with the mice and for students to clean after their lunches and keep the library clean and organized.
