After a successful year last year, theatre is preparing their first play of the year along the new theatre director Ms. Davis. It will be taking place in the cafeteria from December 12-14 and is titled “Rumors” by Neils Simon.
The previous theatre director, Ms. Eben, directed the plays “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” and “Mamma Mia.” The new theatre director Ms. Davis explained that the gist of the new play is “a dinner party at a wealthy man’s New York house and as the guests begin to arrive they find that the man who owns the house has been shot. He’s still alive but they need to figure out what’s going on because he’s unconscious and his wife is missing.”
Overall 10 cast members, Junior Brayden Appell elaborated on his characters personality, “My character Ernie…is a little unique and special. He’s a very nice guy, he’s an analyst and he’s just trying to keep everybody happy and together throughout the party as things progressively get more strange and worrisome.”
