Cross country had an event on October 2 against CAA-Mountain League. People from the Morro Bay High School cross country team met at Santa Maria on a motocross track. The team left at 12:00 P.M. and the event started at 3:00 P.M. Participants had some positive things to say about the event.
Students from all grades participated in the event. Charles Inman is a sophomore on the Cross Country team. “For me the event was a success because I was on the varsity team and since it was my first year it was good to see what it is like to be at a higher level” says Inman.
Anyone can join cross country. Even if you have no history with cross country or running it’s a great way to get in shape, meet friends, and have fun. Cross country has a plethora of people already in it but, you still have time to join the team at MBHS. Cross country still has lots of events coming up going all the way until the end of November, so if you’re interested than make sure to join!
