On Thursday October 31st, a costume contest was held during lunch at MBHS by ASB. Many students at MBHS showed off their costumes, divided into funny, cute, scary, or group categories. The contest featured costumes which were either hand made and store bought. One of the winners of the contest, junior Dante Taylor said, “This was a fun thing to do on Halloween.”
The winners for the costume contest were, Jose Olmos for scariest, Marisa Dinsmoor for most creative, Malcolm Mcgregor for funniest, and Jorden and Dante Taylor for best group costumes. According to one of the winners for the group category, sophomore Jorden Taylor said, “I didn’t think we were going to win. It seemed a little bit off, but it was still a fun experience winning.”
As predicted, there were students dressed up as VSCO girls. There were also unique costumes such as plants, and people dressed up as South Park characters. There were also clowns walking around the school. There were also many devils and angels. The people who did sign up showed off their incredible costumes.
