Every year, it seems like the Summertime is when all of the top music comes out. This year was no different. Here are the top 15 songs from this summer:

1) Butter – BTS

“Smooth like butter, like a criminal undercover” This song absolutely exploded on the scene almost immediately. Produced by worldwide phenomenon BTS, this song did not only reach KPOP fans, but it reached radio stations across the planet.

2) Levitating – Dua Lipa ft. DaBaby

The upbeat tune combined with the voices of both Dua Lipa and DaBaby resulted in a song that will be played at every party to ever be held from now on.

3) Good 4 U – Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo is known for her heartbreak songs. This song came out under her top-charting album called SOUR. With this song, Rodrigo proved herself to be one of the most popular artists in the nation.

4) Leave the Door Open – Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak.)

Bruno Mars made his long-awaited return to music alongside popular artist Anderson Paak. Let’s just say, they did not disappoint. Their styles of music combined into a smooth-sounding classic.

5) Kiss Me More – Doja Cat ft. SZA

Another hit by the composer of the popular song called “Say So”, which became popular in TikTok.

6) Blinding Lights – The Weeknd

The Weeknd is no stranger to putting out instant classics. He did more of the same with “Blinding Lights”, using his Michael Jackson-like voice to boost this song to one of the most popular hits of the last 10 years. Not to mention, this song was also the main song used in this year’s WWE Wrestlemania and NFL Super Bowl.

7) Call Me If You Get Lost – Tyler, the Creator

Although this isn’t a song, but an entire album, Tyler, the Creator put out one of his best compositions to date. With songs like SWEET/ I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE and WUSYANAME, this album might be the favorite for Album of the Year.

8) Montero – Lil Nas X

“CALL ME BY YOUR NAME.”  A song most known for its controversial music video, Lil Nas X put out yet another summer hit song to go along with Old Town Road.

9) Bad Habits – Ed Sheeran

Released on June 25, 2021, under Asylum Records UK. A cool and fun tune under the dance-pop genre.

10) Astronaut in the Ocean – Masked Wolf

Although not a very well-liked song among the general public, it cannot be denied that this song was a top song of the summer. The song caught wind on Tik Tok, with memes about it being made left and right. That might just be what elevated it to platinum status.

11) Save Your Tears – The Weeknd

There’s also another version of this song with the pop song hitmaker Ariana Grande. We aren’t focusing on that though, as the Weeknd added another song to his resume to go along with “Blinding Lights”.

12) Rapstar – Polo G.

One of Polo G’s breakout songs, Rapstar blew up on Tik Tok and boosted Polo G to even more fame than he had before. Now, he has collaborations with some of the world’s biggest rappers, such as Lil Baby, Pop Smoke, DaBaby, and more.

13) Peaches – Justin Bieber ft. Giveon and Daniel Caesar

Justin Bieber did what he does best on this track: a pop song with a catchy beat. Bieber continues to add to his award-winning resume with another hit, this time with Daniel Ceasar and the increasingly popular artist Giveon.

 14) Deja Vu – Olivia Rodrigo

Another hit song under her overly popular album SOUR, Olivia Rodrigo added another hit song to pair with Good 4 U. 

15) Stay – The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber

An upbeat type of song that can also be used for a dance. Under the album STAY, The Kid LAROI put out this Tik Tok sensation along with Justin Bieber.
