As the upcoming 2021-2022 holiday season approaches Morro Bay High (MBHS) ASB.
Begins setting up and planning the holiday spirit week. It’ll be called winter week in honor of the winter season. Winter Week starts Monday the 12th and goes through till Friday the 16th MBHS freshman Jack Walker says “I’m so excited for warm and cozy day to get a cup of hot chocolate! my toes will be warm in my flipidy flopidy’s”.
ASB Member and Senior Hana Yoneyama revealed ASB’s plans and events for the upcoming winter week:
“Monday is a warm and cozy day. So students can dress up in their pajamas and bring their own mugs from home to get free hot chocolate during nutrition. On Tuesday you can wear your ugly winter sweaters and sing some holiday karaoke during lunch in the quad. On Wednesday we have a fuzzy sock hop planned for lunch in the quad so wear your fuzzy socks to school. Thursday is bundle up day so wear your best warm winter outfit and come out to the stadium field for a penguin slide. On Friday we have a “winter wonderland” planned so we’re gonna have multiple activity stations like cookie decorating and ornament decorating in the quad during lunch”
You can also spot ASB’s handiwork all around the campus via Christmas trees and other holiday decorations. Be sure to recognize them when there in the halls.
