A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream


On January 27th, 28th, and 29th, the students of Morro Bay High School will be performing “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.” Each show will be performed at 6:00pm in the courtyard.

A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream is a five act comedy by William Shakespeare. The play is about the consequences of love and magic where four lovers whose relationship preserves through hardships, physical and magical. 

The audience might be worried if the play will be understandable or not because Shakespeare’s work can be challenging for audiences to understand, however Director Ms. Kostecka states, “the actions of the performers and their tone and emotions help bring the language of Shakespeare to life!”

Student Lucas Huss says, “it’s going to be a stellar performance and I’m excited to get more acting experience!”

The main cast stars Valerie Merson, Angus McNellie, Tru Foster, and Charlie Fryer.
