Winter break of the 2025-26 school year was filled with a bunch of adventures and two holidays. There are many different things students did during winter break. Everyone did a lot and had a lot of fun. Let’s see what others did over winter break.
Milana Sanson, a sophomore, said she went to Florida over break and hung out with her family. Sanson’s favorite memories from break were going to the beach and tanning. Sanson says it was extremely hot and sunny in Miami, Florida, so tanning and going to the beach there were always super nice. Sanson also said that when she came back after her vacation, she missed the sun so much because of how stormy it was here. Sanson said she hung out with Talia Rodgers, her best friend, the most during her break. “I did a lot of beach days, soccer practice, two soccer games, hung out with friends, and went to the gym”. Sanson said her break wasn’t boring at all, and she is already looking forward to spring break.
Mollie Lange, a freshman, said her break was very fun. Lange says she hung out with a lot of friends and went on a bunch of hikes. “I did a lot more outdoor activities than I thought I would have done”. Lange’s favorite memory from break was an escape room with her aunt and family. Lange’s least favorite activity was her long 8-hour road trip to Chico. Lange hung out with her friends and her family the most over break. Lange said her New Year’s was super fun, and she hung out with a bunch of friends that night. Lange said her break could have been less boring if she had gone and adventured a little more.
Trilby Grafton, a sophomore, said she had a very full winter break. Grafton went to the beach, snowboarding in Tahoe, and hung out with her friends. Grafton’s favorite memory from winter break was trash bagging down hills with her friends. Grafton says that after the rain, the grass fields were really slippery, and she and her friends had the idea to go slide down the hills. Grafton hung out with many people, some including her brother, family, Milana, Faith Racine, and Peyton Weir. “I loved going snowboarding with my friends even though there wasn’t much snow,” Grafton says. Although Grafton did do a lot of things with her friends, she also practiced and played a lot of soccer. Grafton’s least favorite memory from break was when she got food poisoning after snowboarding, and she had to drive to Sacramento from Tahoe with a horrible stomachache. Grafton said her break wasn’t boring at all; she just wished she hadn’t gotten sick.
Everyone’s break seemed very fun and filled with a lot of activities. Students are looking forward to spring break already.
