Avery Goddard, Writer
Avery Goddard is a clever freshman at MBHS. She is a writer in the journalism class at MBHS, and she, like many others, is very new to journalism. She attended Cayucos Middle School until she transferred to MBHS for high school. Up to this point, she is settling in, “kinda well,” Goddard said.
After transferring to MBHS, she joined the JV girls golf team, and she’s been playing since July of this year. She’s looking forward to having fun with golf. Furthermore, Goddard is very chill, “I’m more of an introvert, but like, nice,” Goddard said. Along with settling in and being on the girls’ golf team, she has a role model here at MBHS, her sister, junior Gracie Goddard.
The past summer, Goddard visited her cousins in Hawaii. When she was in Hawaii, she went swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and hung out with her family in Hawaii. This summer in Cayucos, she rode her bike down to the Cayucos pier with friends, went to the beach with friends, and binged “My Life with the Walter Boys,” “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and many horror movies. Her summer was eventful, yet chill at the same time. Goddard also attended the most recent homecoming and said, “It was fun.”
With all of the things Goddard’s done from the past summer till now, she has had a great time so far at MBHS, and is motivated to do great things this freshman year.
