Chava Brody is a student at MBHS, and she is a freshman. She is interested in journalism because she loves to learn more about people through interviewing them. Her big goal for this class is that she wants to learn how to write more efficiently.

She has a very strong passion for soccer since her mom played soccer in high school, and her dad played basketball in college and high school. Her parents are still really into sports, and they frequently do hikes and soccer as a family.  Brody is also now a part of the school soccer team. She was one of the best on her old team, but then switched to the San Luis Obispo soccer team since playing on her old team for years got too repetitive for her, and she is still really good at it. She did it from ages six to 11, but in the middle of it took a long break due to her being more interested in REC at the time. 

She has a great passion for soccer and sports in general, surprisingly, though she actually used to do competition dance as a young teen, and she really enjoyed it. She did competition dance for 2 years from the age of 8 to 10 years old. 

She is also interested in being a therapist or a lawyer, but she is more interested in being a lawyer since she wants to help people and also understand why criminals do the things they do. She also briefly mentioned how much school it is, but is still more motivated to be a lawyer. She’s also considering maybe doing something soccer-related as a career path if she doesn’t want to be a lawyer or therapist in the future anymore. 

As long as Brody is in a good mood, she loves to socialize. She likes talking to people and learning more about them.
