Kaylee Tackett, News Section Editor

Sophomore Kaylee Tackett does tennis in the fall and Drama Club in the spring. She mostly does it so she can sing. Tackett’s favorite sport to watch is basketball because she’s a huge fan of the Golden State Warriors. She has been watching basketball since she was five years old with her grandparents and dad. “Obviously, I’ve never been to any games in person, but I would love to go to and watch it,” said Tackett.

Tackett’s favorite hobbies are baking and cooking. She also enjoys shopping, hanging out with her friends, and going to the farmers’ market. Tackett loves going to downtown SLO as well. Her favorite thing to cook is stuffed bell peppers, “It’s really fun to make because you can put whatever you want in there,” said Tackett. Her favorite thing to make is pies, preferably apple pie with ice cream or whipped cream. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her best friend from Atascadero. Her favorite subject in school is English, and her favorite teachers are Ms. Grasty and Mr. Johnson. Tackett is from Los Osos, but she really wants to live on the East Coast or up north in California, around the Noe Valley area.

Tackett’s favorite karaoke song to sing is anything by Megan Moroney. She also loves listening to country music, “Country is relaxing and there are also different types of country music to choose from,” she said. Tackett goes from a range of upbeat country music like Carrie Underwood to sad country and even a calm summer vibe country. Her favorite song is “I Know You” by Megan Moroney.
