We’ve all seen those TikTok videos, where influencers advertise and recommend their favorite “cozy games” for when you’re sick, have no energy, or just want to cozy up in a blanket on a rainy weekend. Despite the allure that these games all have, many of them are only available on a gaming computer or a Nintendo Switch, and the games that have options for a phone or tablet are often not nearly as high-quality as they are on their intended device.

However, there are many games of equal quality and entertainment as the ones that are being featured in these videos, and you can download them for free on your phone or tablet anytime. They’re easily accessible, fun to play, and fit the “cozy” vibes perfectly. Below is a list of five incredible mobile games for people with all different game interests and preferences.

Hamster Inn

If you love small, cute, aesthetic little things, this is the game for you. It’s exactly what it sounds like: you own an inn, and to start with, all of your guests are hamsters. The entire design of the game is based around rodents and small furry creatures, and as you progress and upgrade through the game, you can unlock different animals and guests, as well as work on upgrading the different rooms.

This game is for people who enjoy seeing progress fast, and for those who like more management-style games. While this game is easy to play for hours on end, it is also perfectly suited for those who only wish to play 15 minutes here and there. The best part about this game, other than the adorable design of it all, is the variety of special events and things that go on, even as often as every 10 minutes, which keep the game interesting and prevent that feeling of being stuck, with little to no progress being made.

Additionally, this game allows you to unlock a few different locations within your inn (though they are unlocked pretty quickly and only take up to an hour of play time to unlock), which allow players to have more to upgrade and work with. The available upgrades also add to the longevity of this game, making it fun to play for longer periods of time. You can upgrade your rooms, work on upgrading your services, and, most challenging, upgrade and hire new hamster staff to get different perks.

This game is super fun to play alone and is definitely a top pick for those who love management games, but also want to enjoy an adorable and cozy design.

Good Pizza, Great Pizza

For those who love games with a bit of a storyline, Good Pizza, Great Pizza is a simple, easy-to-follow game. In the past few years, it’s gotten immensely popular on TikTok, along with its partner game Good Coffee, Great Coffee. The entire style and artistic design of the game is very similar to other “cozy games,” and it has five long “chapters” to play, with number six in development.

These chapters, which vary in length from player to player, each have their own unique set of goals, as well as new characters, decorations, and toppings to unlock. Characters in this game all come with a unique personality, and part of the fun is seeing how quirky the pizza orders can get.

Good Pizza, Great Pizza also does well to prevent players from getting bored. The game is played in days, with each in-game day being around six minutes long, depending on the specific storyline for the day and the characters you encounter. Additionally, the game features different areas, festivals, events, and more, depending on the chapter and your place in the story.

Good Pizza, Great Pizza is a great game for those who love to follow a story and to interact with different characters. While it is a single-player game, it is easy to play along with friends and enjoy the fun and slight chaos of the story.

Hay Day

While Hay Day doesn’t fit the typical definition of a “cozy” game, it can still very much be treated as such. Hay Day is an incredibly developed farming game, where players work to level up and unlock new crops, animals, machines, locations, and products. The graphics of the game are very different from Hamster Inn and Good Pizza Great Pizza, but it is still very visually appealing and easy to navigate.

Out of the bunch, Hay Day by far is the best game for players who love to customize. Hay Day comes with hundreds of decorations available to every player, and this array only increases as you level up. Hay Day is also known for its holiday and seasonal events, which come with their own set of unique decorations that are only available for shorter periods of time, making them especially unique pieces of decoration to add to your farm.

Additionally, this game can be played with friends – up to 500 of them! Hay Day allows you to add friends, where you can see their shop, help them out, and trade using the roadside stand. The game also has a notable feature that they call “neighborhoods,” which are groups of up to 30 players from all over the world, with different commitment levels, game levels, and languages – all of which you can sort through to find the best group for you. Through this, you can participate in events with your neighborhood and compete with other neighborhoods for different prizes.

Hay Day has so many unique and amazing features that it’s impossible to highlight all of them. This game makes it nearly impossible to get bored, with its large community and events that go on every week.

These games prove themselves to be some of the best mobile games to play alone, with friends, and in any mood. They’re accessible, and only require a phone or tablet to play on, and every one is well developed, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to play. Most of all, these games are super fun to play, and will have nearly anyone hooked in minutes.
